  • The school is entirely paperless
  • All websites are unblocked at school for teachers and students alike
  • Technology is used every day in every class

Research Day

If you haven't finished watching your videos from yesterday, you can start there.
Then go to the 2011 Horizon Report and read about your technology trend.
If this is a new topic for you, you should read the overview, and follow the links like we did before.
If this is the same topic you already studied, you will need to go deeper and do some additional research on your own.
Be sure to save all the sites you find on your topic in Diigo - remember to use tags, descriptions, sticky notes, and comments

Take notes in wordpad or notepad add them to the page on our class wiki for your topic.

Monday, March 7

Hi, everyone
I'm still traveling but I'll be back tomorrow to see how things are going and help you all move forward in the project. Meanwhile, I don't see any new information on your wikipages, so I'm assuming you're still working on your tasks from Thursday and Friday. As you do so, you may also want to check out the resources saved to the Diigo group from last year's NetGenEd project (we will be joining the 2011 version of this group shortly). Also, Mr. Sullivan has an updated version of the team matrix to show you; please check for your new teammates and communicate with them. I miss you. Do good work. See you soon.
~Ms. Moorman
